๐บ๐ธThrowback Thursday guitar student, Ryley Maudrie, performing the National Anthem at the 50th Annual Homecoming Softball Tournament โ a performance filled with courage, heart, and talent.
Ryley has been taking free lessons through TUNES since February 2024, thanks entirely to donor-funded scholarships. Before then, he had never played guitar. On this day, heโs shared music with his community in a way that took tremendous bravery and growth.
These scholarships are life-changing.
They give our island kids access to music education, confidence they can carry into every part of life, and opportunities they would never have without your support.

Hot on the heels of receiving the 2025 Geographic Enrichment Grant from the CCCF, weโre proud to share that TUNES Music Makers is also a 2025 recipient of a $2500 Great Lakes Energy ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ ๐

This funding will help us purchase computers, printers, and technology upgrades for our new TUNES Studio. These upgrades will support our day-to-day operations, helping our small nonprofit stay organized and efficient. They will also be used for virtual learning opportunities and professional development for our instructors.
A heartfelt thank-you to the Great Lakes Energy People Fund and all the GLE members who make this possible by rounding up their electric bills each month. Those few cents make a big difference for community programs like ours.
๐ก Want to help too? You can support the People Fund by checking the round-up option on your monthly Great Lakes Energy bill โ itโs an easy way to give back to your community!
